Lin Chen, MD
Dr. Chen is the most recent addition to The Jones Clinic. Dr. Chen is triple board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. She worked as an attending physician at St. Louis Oncology Associates, St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO., before deciding to join The Jones Clinic in August.
“We’re very pleased to be expanding the clinic, and Dr. Chen is a wonderful addition,” says C. Michael Jones, M.D., F.A.C.P. “She has extensive experience in research, and she is dedicated to her patients’ complete wellbeing.”
Dr. Chen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and her Medical Degree at University of Arkansas College of Medicine in Little Rock. She is a member of the American Medical Association and associate members in the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. She has volunteered her time with Doctors without Borders in Monterrey, Mexico, where she set up health clinics.
“I was drawn to The Jones Clinic because along with a focus on research, they provide a variety of patient support services,” Dr. Chen says. “I was impressed by the clinic’s community outreach efforts and the number of public awareness and educational programs the current doctors promote. I’m looking forward to close patient involvement, which not all clinics offer.”
