“We have excellent physicians and staff, plus the people here are patient-oriented.” Diana loves working with oncology patients because as a nurse she has multiple opportunities to provide comfort and support. Diana is one of those giving individuals who thrive on helping others. She urges her patients to ask for any help that they may need and to always report any problems they may be experiencing regardless of how minor they may be. Doing more for patients and providing compassionate nursing attention is what Diana is all about. Currently, Diana is in the process of attaining OCN certification, which signifies advanced oncology training and experience. |

Prior to joining The Jones Clinic she was associated with Mid-South Cancer Center at the Nurse Manager. Betty’s day to day responsibilities include supervision of the chemotherapy treatment room, patient and family education and coordinating the multitude of clinical activities within The Jones Clinic. |
Peggy Kook, LPN, CLT Lymphedema Therapist |
The Jones Clinic boasts one of the few certified lymphedema therapists in the area. Peggy Kook, L.P.N., C.L.T.; Peggy graduated from The Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Sebastian, Florida, in 2004. She was trained in the Vodder technique for managing lymphedema, Peggy is a member of the National Lymphedema Network has now cared for patients at The Jones Clinic for over six years.
Lymphedema is not a curable condition, so Peggy’s primary interest is in helping patients relieve their symptoms. She uses complex decongestive therapy to eliminate discomfort and avoid the use of narcotics. This treatment includes: a) manual lymphatic drainage, b) bandaging, c) skin care and nutritional counseling, d) exercise training, and e) instruction in self-care. This method encourages patients to take an active role in the management of their lymphedema. |
Pennie Miller,RN, ONC Nurse |
Pennie has been with The Jones Clinic since June 2009. She enjoys working with the patients here because of the close relationships formed with her patients. “I love taking care of my patients and want them to feel as if they are part of my family.” She has hospital experience and has worked extensively with Dr. Muir prior to his association with The Jones Clinic. She is an oncology certified nurse. |

Debbie has her Associates Degree in Nursing from Shelby State Community College and is an Oncology-Certified Nurse.
“Each day, I have the opportunity as a nurse at The Jones Clinic to provide compassionate patient care including: assessment, education, chemo infusion and follow-up. Each area of patient care includes the coordinated efforts of a cohesive group of caregivers including: front desk, lab, doctors and the research department in order that each patient receives exceptional care. Brandy has her Associates Degree in Nursing from Northwest Community College.
I work in the clinical area having direct contact with the patient on a daily basis. I hang chemotherapy, monitor lab values, educate new patients about chemotherapy. Teaching continues throughout patients care. “I love working with the staff at The Jones Clinic. Everyone here loves our patients and it shows throughout every department here. I feel that our patients feel that we are trustworthy, and they are provided the best care.” |

Pam is the medical assistant to Dr. Jones and Cindy Rogers. She is the “go to” person for both staff members and our physicians. She has a warm heart and a loving and caring personality. |
